CCTV Technician

Overview

This is a traveling position, as a CCTV Project Technician, you will primarily work in Walmart stores across various locations, focusing on the installation, upgrading, servicing, and maintenance of CCTV systems. This is a great role for those who thrive in nighttime environments, as night shifts are common.

• Depending on the project, travel would be anywhere from 3-4 days at a time up to 2 weeks at a time, a chance to see different places while working.
• Per-diem provided for overnight stays during travel.
• Drive time and mileage compensation when using your personal vehicle during travel.

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain modern CCTV systems.
• Run low voltage cabling, including drilling and minor conduit work in commercial settings.
• Ensure installations meet customer expectations, contracts, and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with team leads and project managers to ensure smooth project execution and timely equipment delivery.

• Proven experience in CCTV installation, Cat 6 cabling, conduit work, and networking.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site maps.
• Proficient in troubleshooting network switches.
• Must have basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transportation (company vehicle provided post-training).
• Knowledge of cabling infrastructure; experience with conduit installation is a plus.

• Full-time

• $25.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience and location.
