Industrial Electrician I – Gannett Publishing Services – USA TODAY Co., Inc.

Seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician.

• Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment breakdowns
• Use analog, digital test equipment and electrical tools
• Experience with networked I/O PLC networks (CAN bus, Interbus, Profibus, Sercos rings)
• Servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of DC drives, FDS drives, and servo drives
• PLC troubleshooting, repair, and replacement
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Knowledge of NEC and OSHA regulations
• Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

• Perform minor power projects including conduit and wiring installation
• Understand complex electrical and pneumatic control diagrams
• Use machine shop equipment
• HVAC experience
• Familiarity with newspaper printing presses and mailroom processing equipment

• 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance
• Experience working with voltages of 600 volts or less and associated equipment
• Strong communication skills
• Experience using various Microsoft Office applications
• Physical requirements:
  
  climbing, working from ladders/steps, confined spaces, moderate to heavy lifting
• Work schedule:
  
  nights, weekends, holidays
• Team will assist with training
