Our client, a leader in industrial solutions, is seeking a Territory Account Manager to own and grow an established, multi-state territory. You’ll expand key accounts while consistently uncovering new opportunities within both existing customers and new prospects. Although the company offers a broad product catalog, they sell as a solutions partner, supported by technical specialists and engineering resources that help you identify customer challenges and turn every visit into a sales opportunity.
This role is ideal for a consultative, relationship-driven salesperson who thrives in face-to-face environments and balances account growth with proactive hunting. Join a stable, well-established organization with strong internal support and significant upside in an under-penetrated territory.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans; achieve territory and corporate sales targets
- Conduct regular sales calls and in-person visits to existing customer accounts
- Prospect for new key accounts
- Maintain and grow gross margin while protecting business
- Attend weekly planning meetings; track metrics, milestones, and results
- Develop new product opportunities and vendor consolidation strategies
- Participate in lunch and learns and joint vendor calls
- Maintain CRM with activities, appointments, and quotes
- Follow up on product launches and trade shows
- 2+ years of B2B field/territory/outside sales experience required
- 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing industry sales experience required
- Proficient with CRM tools and MS Office Suite required
- Valid driver’s license required
- 50% travel within territory (including some overnight stays) required
