What you’ll be doing

With your sales experience you will deliver innovative business solutions that support our technology evolution and change the way businesses connect. You will consult with customers to identify their business challenges and recommend tailored solutions, driving a powerful return for customers while improving their business and growing our revenue.

  • Identify, develop and qualify leads within your territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold‑calling, partner‑selling, lead‑generation campaigns and modern social selling techniques.
  • Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
  • Retain, manage and grow the existing customer base.
  • Coordinate with support partners to educate and excite customers about how they can leverage innovative business solutions.
  • Proactively establish, build and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Effectively present and create multi‑product solution opportunities.
  • Confidently demonstrate a knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products and groundbreaking integrated software solutions such as Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms.
  • Track and report progress through the consistent use of a variety of sales force automation tools.
What we’re looking for

Self‑motivated, solution‑focused, and great at explaining complex technology in plain language. Cold‑calling feels like a sport and you enjoy meeting new people.

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
  • Experience in outside sales, prospecting and negotiation.
  • Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory, up to approximately 50% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree—associate, bachelor’s, or certifications/college courses.
  • Two or more years of business‑to‑business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling.
  • Technology sales and educational experience such as SaaS sales experience, CRM, Sales Force or other client management tools, social media, etc.
  • Strong presentation skills in a face‑to‑face and virtual environment.
  • Experience in building and maintaining business relationships with all levels of client organizations.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, self‑directed, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to implement feedback and tailor your approach for success.
Where you’ll be working

In this mobile role, you'll primarily work from customer or field location(s), with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in‑person training and meetings.
