About Zoom Room Hardin Valley
Zoom Room Hardin Valley is a modern, indoor dog training facility focused on positive reinforcement and building strong relationships between dogs and their people. We offer group classes, private training, enrichment activities, and community events — all in a fun, supportive environment.
We’re growing and looking for an energetic Dog Trainer & Sales Specialist who loves dogs, connects easily with people, and knows how to confidently sell services.
If you’re passionate about helping clients succeed and enjoy closing sales, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Training & Client Experience
- Assist with group and private dog training sessions using positive reinforcement methods
- Coach pet parents on techniques they can use at home
- Create a welcoming, upbeat experience for every dog and client
- Support trainers and teammates during classes and daily operations
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Actively sell training packages, memberships, and recommended services
- Educate clients on class options and pricing
- Follow up with prospects and existing clients to drive enrollment and retention
- Recommend retail products that support training success
- Help convert walk-ins and inquiries into paying clients
Front Desk & Facility Support
- Greet clients and dogs, check them in, and manage scheduling
- Answer phones, emails, and customer questions
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional facility
- Assist with daily opening/closing duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Strong customer service and/or sales experience (retail, hospitality, or professional sales)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Comfortable discussing pricing and closing sales
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Genuine love of dogs
Preferred (but not required):
- Dog training experience (professional or personal)
- Familiarity with positive reinforcement training
- Experience with scheduling or CRM systems
- Ability to lift ~35 lbs and stay active on your feet
