Reporting to the Networking & Services Manager, the Network Specialist is a key member of the Networking and Services Team. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct business development and provide technical sales support for Kendall’s Datacom Portfolio. This portfolio includes Industrial and Enterprise Network Infrastructure products offered by partnering manufacturers and sold by Kendall Electric. The Network Specialist is responsible for pre and after-sale support of these products, and design, as well as competency development for our inside and outside sales teams.
ExcitingWork You Will Do
- Ensure a consistent level of business development and support for Kendall account managers and customers within the region
- Be a single point of contact to partnering manufacturers for the Datacom product lines within the region and be a lead advocate for the portfolio
- Actively call on our datacom contractor customers to build relationships and grow datacom business
- Maintain an extensive understanding of Kendall’s Datacom networking products offered and the applicable industry standards associated with those products
- Lead the inventory needs for datacom business in region
- Lead commercial activity and conversations at key accounts
- Work with outside sales to create and maintain a robust sales funnel

- Work Experience:
3 years’ of experience in the Datacom Technology field - Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience - Analytics/Computer
Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite, business acumen, including problem solving skills, critical thinking, analytical skills; demonstrated knowledge of the Datacom & Industrial Networking space and its standards - Organization
Skills:
Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work in fast-paced, and continuously evolving environment - Cross-functional skills:
