Overview

The Home Depot is hiring for a Store Support role. This position involves a variety of non-sales functions to support operations and customer satisfaction.

Position responsibilities and duties are focused on ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the store or lot, and providing administrative services as needed. Direct customer or vendor interaction may be required. You will work cooperatively with other associates, vendors, and carriers, with supervision provided as appropriate. You should be detail-oriented, have strong time management skills, and demonstrate integrity at all times while supporting store-specific business objectives.

Specific positions may include:
Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.

Responsibilities
  • Assist customers on the sales floor and in the lot; direct customers to store departments and merchandise.
  • Provide order status updates and assist with order fulfillment to ensure timely, accurate delivery or pickup.
  • Perform administrative tasks and support store operations as needed.
  • Handle cash management and ensure program compliance where applicable.
  • Respond to operational concerns and communicate effectively with associates, vendors, carriers, and customers.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to support store objectives and maintain smooth store operations.
Qualifications
  • Detail-oriented with proven time management skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others and with little/some supervision.
  • High level of integrity and reliability in handling tasks and information.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience in non-sales or customer service roles is advantageous.
