Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and monitor quality assurance standards. • Prepare bakery/deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples and inform customers of specials.
• Provide fresh products in correct portions and recommend items.
• Use bakery equipment according to guidelines and prepare foods following safety protocols.
• Measure, prepare, and inventory ingredients; check product quality and expiry dates.
• Maintain proper temperatures and logs; stock and label merchandise.
• Report discrepancies, understand store layout, and stay current on promotions.
• Maintain inventory, promote a welcoming environment, and adhere to food safety and safety procedures.
• Manage conflicts cooperatively, act with honesty, follow directions, and support customers including minors and seniors.

• Customer service and effective communication skills.
• Basic math knowledge.
• Ability to obtain a food handler permit.

• Customer service skills, bakery or deli experience, retail experience.
