Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong desire to create delicious and visually appealing dishes. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that they are of high quality and meet our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts
• Follow recipes and ensure that all dishes are prepared to our high standards
• Monitor food stock levels, storage and place orders in coordination with General Manager when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared and served in a timely manner
• Assist with menu planning and development

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cook, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing dishes
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma or degree is a plus
• The individual in this position cannot be a minor
