Medical Assistant - UT Urgent Care Northshore

UT Urgent Care Clinic has provided medical care for acute illnesses and minor injuries to Knoxville, TN and surrounding counties since 2007. UT Urgent Care is seeking experienced, well-qualified Medical Assistant for our Northshore location
, who must be a team player and comfortable working in a fast pace urgent care environment.

A successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties but not limited to:

• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients/families during visit, by demonstrating sensitivity to patients’ comfort and privacy.
• Accurately records patient history, complete patient vitals, retrieves basic condition of patient and reports to appropriate practitioner.
• Assists provider with examination, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care, such as: applying splints and wound dressings, collecting and record various laboratory tests, administer oral and injectable medication.

  36-hour work week scheduled between 3 shifts per week, with option for overtime pay (1.5 x hour)

  12-hour weekday shift, 9AM-9PM & 9-hour weekend shift, 9AM-6PM
• Shift Differential

  Up to $2.00 per hour
