We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse – Orthopedics to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced orthopedic unit. The RN will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Report for scheduled shifts on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings; responsible for understanding and acting on information communicated.
- Adhere to Corporate, Regional, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures 100% of the time.
- Assist patients, family members, physicians, visitors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
- Follow Infection Control procedures at all times.
- Deliver direct nursing care to orthopedic patients according to established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Clinical nursing skills in orthopedic care
- Patient assessment and care planning
- Infection control and safety practices
- Professional communication and teamwork
- Time management and organization
- Specialty certification in orthopedics
- Experience in acute care or surgical units
- Leadership and mentoring abilities
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Practice.
- BSN in Nursing preferred.
- Any previously agreed-upon effective date for obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in nursing between individuals and facilities will remain in effect, including those transitioning from the NLRN Program.
- Any contract with specific time frames for obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in nursing will supersede the above and remain in effect.
- Specialty Certification preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS is unit dependent.
- PALS is unit dependent.
