Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position with night shifts and weekend requirements.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Required to work every other weekend or two weekends per month
- On-call required for 36 hours every 6 weeks
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 in Labor & Delivery
- Floating to other units required
- Holiday time off is not accommodated for major holidays; any requests must be submitted on site
- Participation in bi-weekly orientation is required
- First-time travelers are eligible for auto offer consideration
- Active RN license valid in TN or a compact state
- Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN, and NIHSS
- Experience in Labor & Delivery nursing required
