Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level I Emergency Department position requiring Cerner proficiency and evening shift availability.
Responsibilities- Work in a Level I Emergency Department within a hospital setting
- Evening shift hours are 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1
- Weekend work required: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period
- Floating within scope may be required as needed
- Experience with Cerner EMR system is required
- First-time travelers may be considered based on prior experience
- Holiday coverage is expected during assignment
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted during the interview process for approval
- Orientation modules are required and completed onsite during onboarding
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Local candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to qualify
- Active RN license from TN or a compact state
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience required
- Certifications required: ACLS and PALS
- Cerner EMR experience required
- No pending licenses accepted; current valid license must be in hand at time of consideration
