• Demonstrate basic knowledge and proper use of hand tools.
• Troubleshoot and safely repair basic mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and components.
• Effectively prioritize equipment issues, manage downtime, and communicate with peers and leadership; esc‑alate to experts or external resources as needed.
• Read and interpret equipment drawings and OEM manuals for packaging equipment.
• Read and follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications.
• Accurately complete all work‑order and quality paperwork.
• Report environmental, health, and safety concerns to leadership.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues as they arise in a timely manner to allow production to meet business demands.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and maintenance shop.
• Follow all safety procedures and actively participate in safety training and safety‑system ownership initiatives.
• Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and personnel; report any injury, accident, or unsafe condition to supervisor immediately.
• Support and comply with GMPs; understand and follow the emergency action plan.
• Support food safety, quality, and legality.
• Ensure that the operation provides food‑safe, quality products meeting or exceeding all specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing‑facility maintenance experience.
• Basic technical skills in mechanical troubleshooting, pneumatics, fluid power, and hand tools.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Self‑directed team player able to communicate effectively and complete projects on time.
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Positive attitude with ability to follow rules and directions.
