Who we are: Established in 1991, The Anderson-DuBose Company is a full-service distribution company for major quick service restaurants in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New York, Florida, and Georgia. We currently have three distribution center locations:
Lordstown, Ohio (headquarters), Rochester, New York, and Jacksonville, Florida. In late 2026 we will also be opening a new DC in Knoxville, TN. Transportation and Warehouse are the two largest departments at each DC and typically operate 24/7. The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the equipment needed to run a business. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
How you will make contributions that matter- Monitor the general conditions of company buildings and equipment to ensure high quality appearance and performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to understand and read electrical schematics and use various multimeters.
- Complete scheduled, preventative, and emergency repairs in a safe and timely manner.
- Follow an established service for preventative maintenance of equipment, warehouses, facilities, and company properties, including hydraulic and pneumatic operation.
- Ability to prioritize and respond to all equipment breakdowns.
- General understanding of fire and alarm systems.
- Ensure handling of hazardous materials such as paints, solvents, chemicals, and fertilizers complies with state and federal regulations.
- Be a self-starter and work independently or in a team environment.
- Be able to work in all temperature zones related to freezer, cooler, and ambient spaces.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Willingness to work off-shift hours.
- Education – High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience – 3 years of general maintenance experience.
- Other Required Skills – Desire to work hard, quick learner, effective communication, ability to read and follow safety regulations, use basic maintenance equipment (saws, drills, testers, lifts, floor maintenance), determine material requirements for projects, work at elevations up to 50 feet, analytical skills, equipment maintenance, and proficiency with computer software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense and follow instructions; solve problems in standardized situations.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Valid state driver's license.
- Required Skills – Ability to work hard, quick learner, effective communication, safety regulation adherence, use of maintenance equipment, determine material requirements, work at elevations up to 50 feet, and proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
