Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the coordination, planning, and supervision of the Maintenance department. This position is focused on driving maintenance‑related area improvement with cross‑functional teams and overseeing the successful implementation of area maintenance projects. It reports to the Maintenance Manager and works cross‑functionally with Production, EH&S, Quality, HR, Finance, and Engineering team members. The role supervises approximately 20 technicians.
Shift& Schedule
This is a full‑time position on D2 working Fri., Sat., Sun.; 6 AM-6:30PM
. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.
- Coordination, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the department and team, creating a positive climate.
- Support a long‑term maintenance plan, showing year‑over‑year improvement in reliability, maintenance KPIs, and maintenance cost.
- Continually reduce equipment downtime and increase availability through preventive/predictive maintenance programs, including failure analysis.
- Ensure data integrity within a SAP environment and MP2.
- Help further develop Continuous Improvement and TPM processes.
- Oversee area maintenance projects and act as a member of the maintenance leadership team.
- Serve as a communication liaison between maintenance technicians and business partners, including Production and Engineering.
- Manage and develop maintenance team members; provide guidance and oversight for all shift associates; motivate, coach, and develop a diverse, high‑performing and engaged team.
- Support operations to help reduce overall costs.
- Champion and drive relentless reduction of breakdown losses through breakdown analysis and focused improvement tools.
- Participate in and support the departmental safety training program.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally and coordinate efforts around process improvement.
- Ensure effective equipment troubleshooting, including root‑cause identification and action‑plan implementation.
- Review maintenance history, identify key opportunities for improvement, and establish site‑specific projects.
- Audit maintenance task quality, track work orders, and report on area maintenance activity and performance.
- Participate in appropriate site meetings and work with maintenance leadership on corporate initiatives.
- Manage maintenance projects with team and peers.
- Facilitate communication between maintenance technicians and business partners.
- Understand the plant maintenance planning and scheduling process.
- Assess the quality of work performed by the team to continuously improve asset performance.
- Audit maintenance standard work, task quality, track work orders, and report on performance.
- Follow all policies, ergonomic standards, and safety requirements directed by Keurig Dr Pepper.
- Coordinate with vendors to meet the needs of the area maintenance team.
- Assist maintenance technicians as necessary.
- Comply with regulatory, company, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s principles, policies, and applicable laws.
- Accountable for communication, interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, leveraging strengths, managing performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and solving problems to ensure high performance results.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
