Maintenance Technician Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position requires performing various maintenance tasks and ensuring the properties are well-maintained and safe for tenants and clients. As the face of the company, you will interact with tenants, vendors, and the public, representing our core values of grit, servanthood, and trustworthiness.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Perform routine property inspections alongside management.

Communicate with vendors to request bids, follow up on existing jobs, and coordinate access to properties.

Complete maintenance requests from tenants.

Respond to emergency situations following building protocols during or after hours.

Perform preventative maintenance tasks including but not limited to exterior/interior lighting checks, roof inspections, drain cleanouts, plumbing checks, and filter changes.

Manage maintenance operations for assigned properties and provide detailed reports on property conditions.

Lift and move up to 100 lbs using proper body mechanics.

Monitor the condition and status of vacant spaces.

Collaborate with property managers to resolve maintenance issues.

Purchase and track supplies using a purchase order system.

Document all work completed on work orders via a mobile phone app.
