End User Computing Technician

The End User Computing Technician is responsible for the deployment, support, and lifecycle management of PTL endpoint devices, including laptops, desktops, corporate-issued mobile devices, and peripherals. This role ensures proper device imaging and configuration, maintains accurate asset tracking and inventory, and provides timely technical support to users across all PTL locations. The technician will also support equipment provisioning, recovery, and decommissioning processes, helping ensure consistent and efficient end user computing operations.

• Image and deploy laptops and desktops using Microsoft SCCM and Microsoft Intune.
• Configure new devices according to company standards and security policies.
• Assign devices and peripherals to users and maintain accurate asset tracking and inventory records.
• Maintain accurate inventory of endpoint devices and peripherals, including monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and accessories.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the appropriate team to ensure timely procurement of endpoint equipment and peripherals.
• Recover equipment from departing employees and ensure proper reassignment or decommissioning.
• Perform proper disposal and decommissioning of retired equipment in accordance with company policies.
• Wipe, reimage, and prepare devices for redeployment.
• Provide on-site technical support to office users.
• Provide remote technical support to users in other locations.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, login, performance, and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot and support corporate printers, including installation, configuration, and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot and support corporate-issued mobile devices, including enrollment, email configuration, and connectivity issues.
• Support docking stations, monitors, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals.
• Join devices to Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ).
• Assist with Microsoft Intune enrollment, device management, and compliance.
• Maintain proper device naming conventions and organizational standards.
• Provide recommendations on endpoint and peripheral replacements and standards based on operational needs.
• Assist with endpoint lifecycle management, asset tracking, and inventory management processes.

• Perform other duties as assigned
• 2+ years of experience supporting Windows endpoints in a business environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience imaging and deploying computers using Microsoft SCCM.
• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Intune.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Experience supporting corporate printers and peripheral devices.
• Experience managing endpoint inventory and asset tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in the Knoxville office.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to deliver high-quality technical support.
• Ability to multi-task and deal with high stress situations.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical users.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
