Field Services Engineer III

A Day in the Life

Remote role, up to 75% travel.

• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
• Performs maintenance and technical support on products, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at field locations.
• Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time.
• Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinated engineering field change.
• Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
• Provides onsite training of customer support personnel.

Provides technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development. Uses schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data using established formulae and procedures, and performs detailed mathematical calculations. For higher levels, may suggest and/or make improvements to optimize work processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Medical device experience (preferred).

• Autonomy:
  Seasoned individual contributor working under limited supervision, providing assistance and training to lower level employees.
• Organizational Impact:
  Performs technical activities requiring considerable judgment and owns minor projects.
• Innovation and Complexity:
  Handles technical problems generally requiring analysis; expected to propose solutions independently for supervisor review.
• Communication and Influence:
  Communicates typically with internal contacts, obtaining and providing technical information on matters of moderate importance.

Competitive salary and benefits package. Salary range for U.S. $60,000.00 – $90,000.00. Eligible benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA, flexible spending, life, disability, tuition assistance, 401(k) with match, paid time off, stock purchase plan, etc.
