Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
Marathon TS is seeking a Senior and a Mid-Level Project Control/QA professional to support a trusted defense contractor's program (Army/Navy- AI/ML initiative contract) and project management functions. These roles will assist the Program/Project Manager with preparing, updating, and maintaining project schedules, tracking deliverables, reviewing documentation, and ensuring quality and compliance with contract terms. They will also help prepare reports, status updates, and reviews, and perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Responsibilities- Support the creation, update, and maintenance of integrated project schedules.
- Assist with planning, tracking, and reporting across tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
- Manage and monitor project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, SharePoint, or similar) to ensure deliverables and target dates are on track.
- Monitor and report cost, schedule, and contract compliance, and assist in briefing leadership.
- Review project deliverables (agendas, minutes, reports, taskers, etc.) for quality and contractual compliance.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports in coordination with team leads.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project/contract deliverables.
- Support quality assurance reviews, documentation control, and process improvement efforts.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or related field.
- Multiple years of working experience in project control and/or project management support.
- Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Project to create, update, and maintain integrated project schedules.
- Experience managing and monitoring project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, SharePoint, or similar).
- Experience managing and monitoring compliance with contract, cost, and schedule requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels and strong networking/influencing skills.
- Experience in monitoring and reporting DOGE oversight compliance in accordance with Executive Order 14222 and the May 27, 2025 DoD Contract Guidance Memorandum.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Clearance RequirementMust be a US Citizen with an active DoD security clearance.
