HR Generalist

Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Generalist located in Strawberry Plains, Knoxville, TN. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for administering HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include supporting recruitment and onboarding, coordinating benefits programs, implementing HR initiatives, maintaining employee records, and assisting in employee development. The role also involves working closely with other departments to foster a positive and productive workplace environment.

• Administer HR policies and ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage employee relations and support dispute resolution
• Support recruitment and onboarding activities
• Coordinate benefits programs
• Implement HR initiatives and maintain employee records
• Assist in employee development and training
• Collaborate with other departments to foster a positive workplace environment

• Expertise in Human Resources (HR) and HR management practices
• Experience with HR policies, compliance, and development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency with HR software and tools is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or 3 or more years of experience in HR
• Trucking experience is a plus
