Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join their team! This position is located in Knoxville, Tennessee.

• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations
• Prepare and support payroll runs, including data entry, time and payroll inputs, and transaction processing
• Resolve employee payroll inquiries and system-wide payroll issues through ticketing systems and escalations
• Manage onsite payroll-related mail sorting and processing
• Assist with treasury and garnishment-related issues as assigned
• Support vendor audits by reviewing payroll data and ensuring accuracy and data integrity
• Participate in payroll projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery
• Deliver high-quality customer service to employees and internal departments
• Review audit results, identify discrepancies, and support corrective actions
• Evaluate payroll procedures and systems and recommend process improvements
• May provide payroll training or guidance to internal clients and team members

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years of relevant payroll or HR operations experience
• Working knowledge of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and record management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong analytical and customer service skills with attention to detail

The approximate pay range for this position is between $14.00 and $21.00
. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
