Med Cadre is seeking a local contract Pharmacy Technician for a local contract job in Knoxville, Tennessee.

• Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri

This position will float between our 2 stores in Knoxville and Maryville.

Position Summary:
Responsible for processing new and refill prescriptions, including data entry and medication preparation. Handles incoming calls and verbal prescriptions from providers, assists with inventory management, and supports medication compounding as needed. Provides excellent customer service and operates the cash register when required.

Key responsibilities

• Data entry of new and refill prescription.
• Answering phone calls and taking verbal prescriptions from providers.
• Pulling drugs and filling prescriptions.
  
  Inventory maintenance.
• Compounding of medications.
• Customer service including running the register when needed.

Skills Requirement

• Nice to have knowledge in Medication Dispensing.
• Nice to have knowledge in Pharmacy Software Proficiency.
• Nice to have knowledge in Drug Classification Knowledge.
• Nice to have knowledge in Medical Terminology.
• Nice to have knowledge in Hipaa Regulations.
• Nice to have knowledge in Compounding Skills.
• Nice to have knowledge in Pharmaceutical Calculations

Required Qualification

• Must have a High School Diploma in Specialization
• Pharmacy tech license in state of Tennessee
• Certified Pharamcy Tech
