As a Medical Receptionist in our practice, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of clerical duties while coordinating patient visits in check-in, check-out and scheduling roles.

- 9017 Cross Park Drive, S100, Knoxville, TN 37923 (1-2 days/wk).
Days: Monday - Friday, No weekends

- Strong computer and typing skills; learns quickly; experience with electronic medical records preferred.
- Understanding of confidentiality and handling sensitive patient information.
- Greets, engages, and communicates well with patients and their families while providing an excellent customer service experience.
- Collaborates with clinical staff and other offices to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Serves in check-in, check-out, and medical record roles.
- Responds to phone inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Performs insurance eligibility and benefits verification.
- Appointment scheduling, reminders, and confirmation; assesses schedule for optimal patient flow.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date demographic and clinical data utilizing EMR and information systems while ensuring confidentiality.
- Collects copays and payments on account.
- Manages office supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Provides administrative support to management staff as required.
- Maintains an organized and clean reception area.
- Perform other clerical and administrative tasks as needed.
