About Us:
We are a new, innovative residential mental health treatment center in Knoxville, Tennessee, offering 24/7 care to adults struggling with primary mental health disorders and co-occurring substance use disorders. Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a structured, therapeutic environment that promotes long-term healing and recovery.
Position Overview:
We are seeking two dedicated, client-focused Master’s level Primary Therapists to join our clinical team. The Primary Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy services while developing and monitoring individualized treatment plans for residents in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments upon admission.
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy sessions weekly.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions as assigned for Primary Therapists.
- Collaborate closely with medical, psychiatric, and support staff.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the EMR.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and discharge planning with other Primary Therapists.
- Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Required: Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
- Preferred: Active Tennessee license —
LCSW, LPC-MHSP, LMFT
. - Acceptable: LMSW, LPC Temp with approved clinical supervision plan toward full licensure.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year working with mental health and/or substance use populations (preferably residential or inpatient) as a Primary Therapist.
- Familiarity with co-occurring disorders and trauma-informed care.
