A Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who excels in this role:
The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.
Essential Functions- Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
- Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
- Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills.

Applicants should have a current TN physical therapy assistant licensure in addition to:
- Education:
Associate’s degree from a PTA program. - Experience:
Rehab or acute care experience preferred. - Certifications:
CPR certification required.
