Senior Financial Analyst

Overview

Our Client is seeking a sharp, forward-thinking Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) to join their growing, entrepreneurial team in Knoxville. This is not your traditional FP&A role — it’s a strategic position with a seat at the table, helping shape the financial future of a rapidly expanding, PE-backed organization.

As the company accelerates its U.S. and international growth, you’ll play a critical role in financial planning, forecasting, and decision support. You'll collaborate directly with senior leadership to translate business strategy into actionable financial insights — driving smarter decisions and better outcomes.

• Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Partner with department leaders to evaluate performance and optimize resource allocation
• Deliver insightful variance analysis and executive-level reporting that tells the story behind the numbers
• Support M&A modeling and post-acquisition integration, aligning financial plans with evolving business structures
• Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and improved analytics
• Help build FP&A capabilities and tools from the ground up in a fast-paced, scaling environment
• Collaborate cross-functionally across global markets to ensure alignment and transparency

• 5–10+ years of FP&A or strategic finance experience in a PE-backed or fast-growth environment
• Strong modeling skills and experience with modern planning tools
• A tech-forward mindset — comfortable leveraging systems and data to drive efficiency and insight
• Excellent communicator who can distill complex data into clear, actionable narratives for senior stakeholders
• Agile and entrepreneurial — thrives in ambiguity and excels at building from the ground up
• Experience supporting international operations
