Job Description & How to Apply Below

They are a fast-growing geotechnical, environmental, and construction materials testing firm founded in 2023. In just three years, they have expanded from a solo operation to a 22-person team working on multifamily projects across the U.S. Their client base is national, and their work spans diverse geologies-from volcanic rock in Utah to sinkholes in Florida.

They're lean, agile, and profitable from day one thanks to strong relationships with major developers. Their team is self-driven, collaborative, and values autonomy. Everyone has their own office, and they don't micromanage - they care about results, not clock-ins.

What You'll Do
  • Travel to job sites across the U.S. to log soils and oversee field investigations
  • Coordinate with local drillers to collect samples and manage logistics
  • Analyze soil samples and prepare geotechnical reports from our Tennessee lab
  • Collaborate with our internal engineering team and clients to deliver timely, high-quality work
  • Work on a variety of projects - no two sites are the same
  • Lead geotechnical investigations including field exploration, laboratory testing, and data analysis.
  • Design foundations, retaining structures, slope stability solutions, and ground improvement systems.
  • Prepare and review geotechnical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior staff and support their professional development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on transportation, commercial, and municipal projects.
  • Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Support business development efforts through proposal writing and client engagement.
What They're Looking For
  • 2-6 years of geotechnical experience
  • PE license is a plus but not required
  • Strong field logging and report writing skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
  • Not looking to manage people - just solid technical execution
  • Curious and adaptable - excited to work across different geologies and regions
  • Self-motivated and reliable - they don't babysit
  • Healthcare, dental, and vision coverage
  • Short-term disability
  • 401(k) with matching: 100% up to 3%, 50% up to 4%
  • Flexible work environment with autonomy and trust
  • Opportunity to grow with a company that's scaling fast
