Bachelors​/Masters - Transportation Data Intern; Summer

Job Description

CDM Smith’s Knoxville, TN office is looking for Summer Intern to support transportation data analytics and engineering tasks. You'll be working with a dynamic team of industry leading transportation engineers on a diverse portfolio of public and federal projects. Are you ready to take the next step in your career?

• Compiling and cleaning large datasets
• Conducting quantitative analysis using Python, R, Excel, GIS, or Power BI
• Assisting with traffic operations and safety studies
• Supporting traffic modeling tasks
• Preparing maps and dashboards
• Performing engineering calculations under supervision
• Reviewing technical reports and specifications
• Assisting with writing research papers

Currently enrolled in Bachelors or Masters program.

Current students in Computer Science, Data Science, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field are preferred. Postdoctoral candidates are preferred.
