Civil Engineer- Project Manager

As a Civil Engineer / Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll design and manage projects to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and residential clients. Your responsibilities include designing and managing projects, quality control, client interfacing, budgeting, and mentoring junior engineers. You will oversee site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality practices, and utilities, interacting with clients, contractors, and government officials throughout all project phases from conceptual design to construction and grand opening.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years of engineering experience in site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control design
• Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in Tennessee or ability to obtain

Preferred Skills

• CAD/C3D design experience
• Proficient with drainage software such as Hydraflow
• Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and reports
• Project management experience or interest in taking on project management duties
• Ability to interface with clients, network, and develop business
