Cannon & Cannon, Inc. (CCI), one of the Southeast’s most trusted, experienced and nationally recognized engineering and consulting companies, is seeking an honest, capable and qualified Senior Survey Technician candidate to join our Survey Team.
Primary FunctionAs a Senior Survey Technician, you will work within all aspects of the field survey environment, creating the documents and mapping from the data acquired by our field crews. These areas include the processing of field data for boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, route surveys, easement document preparation, writing of legal descriptions, creation and recording of plats, and construction layout calculations.
The individual will work closely with our engineering staff and clients to facilitate the completion of these projects.
CCI has over 27 years of experience providing effective engineering and field surveying solutions to dozens of municipal, commercial and public entities.
Education and Experience Requirements- Surveying license preferred, but not required
- Five (5) years of experience in the field survey environment
- Strong AutCAD and/or Civil3D experience
- Two (2) years working within the office environment in support of field survey related tasks.
- A current drone license and / or experience with drone procedures is a plus.
- This position will work in the Knoxville and surrounding east Tennessee region.
