Design Project Manager – Data Center Design

Arcadis is a leading global consulting firm delivering sustainable design, engineering and consulting solutions for natural and built assets.

Location: United States – role can be based anywhere in the United States.

Travel: Up to 30% domestic travel within the United States.

• Facilitate client requirements for hyperscale data center design throughout the United States.
• Manage the design process from campus planning/basis of design stage through issuance of construction drawings. Oversee external design team execution, coordinate procurement, issue and administer change orders, and provide engineering information to vendors and suppliers.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.
• Travel to project sites and client meetings as required (up to 30%).
• Ensure deliverables meet client format requirements and project milestones.

• 10+ years of project design experience with data center designs, or experience on large complex construction projects such as hospitals, high-rises, laboratories, manufacturing plants, or high‑power plants.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and directly with the final client.
• Experience preparing project plans, technical specifications, implementation schedules, and coordinating internal and external teams.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Platforms:
  Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modelling (BIM) engineered solutions.
• Educational requirement: BA in Architecture or Engineering or related field; preferred licensure (PE, NCARB, RA).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment.
