Overview

We are looking for a driven Site Civil Engineer in Knoxville or Chattanooga to support our site development design projects. As a key member of our Civil Site team, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects ranging from small site design to large building projects or facility infrastructure upgrades. You’ll get to work on site civil layout, grading, and drainage (hydrology and hydraulics) design, utility design, erosion control, and design review.

You’ll work closely with our talented project teams through all phases of plan production as we carry projects from concept design to bid‑ready documents and into construction.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Proficient professional engineering experience in site layout, grading and drainage, utility, and erosion control design
  • Experience assembling and reviewing construction drawings and specifications
  • Project management experience or a desire to take on project management duties
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Tennessee or ability to obtain via reciprocity
Preferred qualifications
  • CAD/C3D design experience.
  • Familiar with drainage programs such as Hydraflow Hydrographs, Culvert master, or Flowmaster.

The base salary range for this position is $78,600.00 to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
