Overview

Data Analyst - Nuclear (US Citizens Only) — Knoxville, Tennessee (On Site). Salary: $70,000 - $105,000 + Training + Great Benefits + 401k + PTO.

Are you a detail-oriented Data Analyst looking for a role where your work directly impacts the safe and efficient operation of nuclear power plants worldwide? In this role, you ll acquire measurements from nuclear plants, analyze and visualize complex datasets, and prepare clear reports and presentations for both internal stakeholders and utility customers. The role also offers opportunities for international travel to collect data on-site, ensuring accuracy and reliability under strict Quality Assurance standards.

The Role
  • Acquire measurements and analyze data from nuclear instrumentation and control systems
  • Apply AMS software and algorithms to assess system health
  • Collaborate with engineers to detect trends and solve complex problems
  • Prepare clear reports and presentations for internal and external teams
  • Follow strict Quality Assurance processes to ensure reliability
  • Travel 6-12 times per year (average 4 days per trip) to nuclear plants across the U.S. and internationally
The Person
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong skills in data analysis, visualization, and problem solving
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven, with commitment to quality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative team player, comfortable working with engineers and field personnel
