Description
Position SummarySupports the manufacturing operations by optimizing the supplier bases quality levels for direct materials and is responsible in working with suppliers to successfully launch new products and manage current products.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMinimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related technical discipline and three to five (3-5) years professional engineering experience in Quality Control/Assurance. 5 years’ experience in related field. Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted.

- Ability to read Engineering drawings.
- GD&T capability.
- Statistical analysis.
- ISO 9001 and IATF requirement knowledge.
- AIAG Core Tools (PFMEA, CPLAN, APQP, MSA, & Statistics).
- PPAP requirements and run‑at‑rates.
- Manufacturing process knowledge.
- Quality Assurance skills.
- Process enhancement – guidance on improving process efficiency.
Duties will be performed in a combination office/shop environment. Employee may be exposed to environmental/controlled air conditions, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical processes requiring the use of protective equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be required to work weekends, holidays, be on call, and travel overnight on occasion.
