Job Overview
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville invites applications for the Associate Director of Integrated System
. This on‑campus position has hybrid/remote flexibility and focuses on enhancing accessibility and diversity in higher education.
- Lead and supervise components of undergraduate admissions and enrollment management systems.
- Manage and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (currently Slate) and identify new efficiencies for student service.
- Provide strategic vision and guidance on the Enrollment Management Division’s technology and application system plans.
- Document policies and procedures related to data integration and imaging processes.
- Supervise a team responsible for incoming documents, data, and information used in the undergraduate application process.
- Evaluate, optimize, and ensure data integrity for the undergraduate admissions system.
Required
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of experience managing CRM and SIS in a university environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of HTML, SQL, XML, or similar.
- Advanced skills in computer applications and reporting tools.
- Effective communication of technical concepts to users, stakeholders, and management.
- Prioritization and organization to meet deadlines with minimal direction.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Judgment, discretion, and tact with all constituents.
- Independent work in a changing environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Creation of reports (MS Access and Excel).
- Work with large data sets and verify data accuracy and completeness.
- Knowledge of Banner and recruitment/enrollment process.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Leadership in a team environment with excellent oral, written, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree.
- Success in evaluating and improving undergraduate admissions CRM efficiencies.
- Experience with Slate, Banner (SIS), or Oracle.
- Experience utilizing SQL.
- Experience in workflow and automation software.
- Self‑motivation, team attitude, and commitment to excellence.
