Overview
The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible cardiologist to join their expanding program. UTMC is a 700+ bed, level 1 Trauma and Tertiary Care center, the only academic center in our service region and consistently ranked as one of the top hospitals in Tennessee by US News & World Report. Our cardiology division is 30 attending cardiologists and growing rapidly, and we provide comprehensive interventional, electrophysiology and imaging services.
You will be joining an excellent team of cardiologists, along with advanced practice providers, dedicated pharmacists and clinical nurse navigator, and rotating Cardiology fellows from our ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship program. You will have opportunities for faculty appointment in the Graduate School of Medicine, teaching residents and fellows, and clinical research.
- Join a growing cardiology program at UTMC with opportunities for teaching, clinical research, and collaboration with the University.
- Participate in comprehensive interventional, electrophysiology and imaging services as part of a large cardiology division (30 attending cardiologists and growing).
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, pharmacists, clinical nurse navigators, and rotating cardiology fellows from the ACGME-accredited fellowship program.
- Engage in teaching residents and fellows and pursue potential faculty appointments in the Graduate School of Medicine.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiology.

CompensationOur salary structure is competitive with private practice positions.
