Rogers Group is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Equipment Operator to support our road construction crews based out of Knoxville, TN. The successful candidate will have experience operating excavators, dozers, skid steers and be familiar with dirt grading, excavation, site utilities, paving, and concrete work. The candidate must have an uncompromising focus on safety and excellence.

• 1-3 years of experience operating heavy equipment (excavator/dozer/loader/skid steer)
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency in challenging and unique terrain environments
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies
• Demonstrate effective communication skills applicable to the position
• Follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment

• Previous experience operating other pieces of heavy construction equipment
• Self-motivated; able to perform duties independently without constant supervision
• Willingness to work overtime and extended hours as needed
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate loud noises
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
• Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 immigration requirement
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
