Join a team that values collaboration, respects your work-life balance, and empowers you to make a lasting impact.

What you will be doing:

As our Assistant Right of Way Project Manager, you will assist in managing complex, federally funded public sector Right of Way projects. You will perform task work to include but not limited to acquisition/relocation activities. You'll work alongside the Project Manager (PM), our amazing clients and other members of the Right of Way team to make sure their projects are executed seamlessly, from start to finish.

From ensuring the right scope of work is in place to tracking and monitoring the project budget and financial requirements, you'll have your hands in every part of the project lifecycle. You'll also be building relationships with key vendors and agencies, pursuing new business development opportunities, and supporting our recruiting efforts. As the day-to-day manager of the project, you'll be responsible for keeping us on track, from timely project reporting to sending invoices to our clients.

Additionally, you'll manage our team of direct reports, ensuring everyone is performing at their best and that the project stays on schedule.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has the ability to successfully manage a project team.
  • Provides quality feedback and coaching to staff.
  • Able to properly delegate to ensure the success of the project.
  • Can work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, as well as balance multiple projects by prioritizing effectively.
  • Is approachable, responsive, and good at interacting with diverse groups of people.
  • Demonstrates organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Is a critical thinker, problem solver, and has strong attention to detail.
  • Supports and recommends department or company wide changes.

What we are offering:

  • Leadership Development Programs
  • Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays
  • 401K and disability coverage
  • Tuition reimbursement and professional training
  • Recognition programs, growth opportunities, and a family-oriented atmosphere.

Here are the minimum requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of Right of Way experience
    • Must include three (3) years experience utilizing the Uniform Relocation Act.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Able to upload and edit documents in a shared online database, such as Dropbox or equivalent.
  • Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC's systems.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Bonus Points if you have an active Tennessee Real Estate License!

We encourage you to apply if you are passionate about making a difference in the community. Join the ORC team now!
