Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join a growing construction-focused team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role is responsible for maintaining and processing accounts payable records, managing invoice workflows, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in AP, bookkeeping, and experience within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment execution
  • Route invoices for proper approvals and maintain accurate routing documentation
  • Verify approvals and assemble payments via check, vendor portals, ACH, and EFT
  • Support month-end and project costing efforts
  • Handle multiple tasks under time-sensitive deadlines
  • Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals
  • Perform additional accounting duties as assigned
Position Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in high-volume accounts payable
  • Job costing experience in the construction industry required
  • Working knowledge of WIP reporting and cost-at-complete preferred
  • General bookkeeping experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
  • Experience with construction-based ERP systems such as Foundation preferred
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
