Job Overview
Quality Equipment, LLC is a John Deere dealer with 36 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. We serve a diverse group of agricultural, commercial, and residential customers and pride ourselves on commitment to customers, employees, and community.
We’re looking for a Sales Representative to join our Knightdale store and help us maintain our status as the premier John Deere dealer in the region.
Pay RangeBase pay: $50,000.00/yr – $75,000.00/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience).
Responsibilities- Represent the company for the sale of machinery to customers within the local geographic sales area.
- Maintain current product knowledge, features, and benefits of all equipment sold, including riding lawn mowers, commercial mowing equipment, utility vehicles, utility tractors, row‑crop tractors, agricultural implements, and compact construction equipment.
- Stay abreast of competitive activity, trends in customers' business, and competitive products.
- Prospect for new customers in local geographic areas across different customer segments (commercial mowing, governmental, agricultural).
- Maintain company assets and equipment (vehicle, phone, computer) as assigned.
- Conduct product demonstrations at customer job sites or farms.
- Maintain current condition of manuals, price lists, and other documents; accurately complete all sales transaction documentation.
- Use a good knowledge of used equipment values for proper trading evaluations.
- Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the store sales team and supervisor to manage scheduling and ensure full store coverage; participate in Saturday rotation when needed.
- Support and promote products and services from all departments (parts, service, IS).
- Act as account manager for key customer accounts, develop deep understanding of each customer's business, needs, challenges, and goals, and document key account activity in the CRM.
- Good understanding of local conditions and knowledge of sale and resale values of machinery.
- Self‑starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
