Retail Store Closing Lead - Part-Time at Burlington Stores, Inc.

We’re looking for an energetic, customer-focused Retail Store Closing Lead to join our team in Knightdale. In this role you will be the visible leader on the sales floor during closing shifts, ensuring a consistently positive customer and associate experience, fostering teamwork, and driving store performance.

• Model exemplary customer service behaviors and deliver a great customer experience to all shoppers and associates.
• Engage associates, promote open communication, and provide recognition and coaching in the moment.
• Touch base with each associate to establish priorities and monitor the front‑end experience.
• Observe and provide feedback to the Customer Service Lead on speed of checkout, line management, and friendliness.
• Review daily staffing, lunch/break schedules, and cashier coverage; assign backup cashiers during peak periods.
• Evaluate recovery needs and monitor fitting room, selling floor, front end, and missing ticket trouble rack.
• Follow up on assigned workload planner tasks and ensure completion.
• Conduct AM/PM store rallies and complete closing communication for the opening Manager on Duty.

• Experience in retail or a related customer‑service environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Flexible schedule, able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Base Pay: $14.00 per hour
