CNC Miller Setter Operator

Position: CNC Miller Setter Operator (Permanent)
Mazco Recruitment Ltd are working with a well-established, forward-thinking precision engineering company in Knaresborough who are looking to add an experienced CNC Miller to their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled setter/operator with 3, 4 & 5 axis experience looking for strong earning potential, structured hours, and long-term stability.

The Role

* Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines

* Working with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls

* 3, 4 & 5 axis machining

* Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances

* Working independently on a dedicated twilight shift

Shift Pattern (Twilight)

* Monday – Wednesday: 2:00pm – 12:30am

* Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:30pm

* Monday - Wednesday 6am to 2pm rotation twilight

* Long weekend every week

Package & Benefits

* Competitive basic salary

* 20% shift allowance on top of salary

* £1,000 annual bonus

* Unlimited overtime available

* 1.4x rate for up to 4 hours

* 1.5x rate after 5 hours

* Double time after 10 hours

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience setting & operating CNC Mills

* Strong knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain controls

* Experience with 3, 4 and ideally 5 axis machining

* Ability to read engineering drawings

* High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
