Lead Where Community, Purpose, and Opportunity Come Together
Klamath County School District (KCSD) serves nearly 7,000 students across deeply rooted both rural and urban communities in Southern Oregon. Schools are central to community life, and students are known, supported, and connected through strong academics, activities, and Career and Technical Education pathways.
KCSD is seeking a Superintendent who will listen first, build trust, and provide steady, student-centered leadership. The next leader will support dedicated staff, strengthen instructional alignment across schools, and expand meaningful pathways that prepare students for college, career, and life.
This role calls for a visible, relationship-centered leader who brings humility, sound judgment, and a deep commitment to teaching and learning. Success will come from partnering with students, staff, families, and community members to sustain what is working, address real challenges thoughtfully, and align district efforts around shared purpose.
Klamath County offers a strong sense of place and quality of life, with abundant outdoor recreation and close-knit communities where leadership presence matters.
If you are an instructional leader who values relationships, rural context, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference, KCSD offers a place to do meaningful work alongside a community proud of its schools.
