Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care to infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs
- Perform preventive, restorative, and limited surgical procedures including exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, pulp therapy, and extractions
- Diagnose and treat oral health conditions while developing individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and caregivers on oral hygiene, prevention, and overall oral health
- Utilize behavior management techniques appropriate for pediatric patients
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care
- Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
- Participate in quality improvement and community outreach efforts as applicable
- DDS or DMD from an ADA-accredited dental school
- Completion of an ADA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry
- Active or eligible for Oregon dental licensure
- Active Nitrous Permit
- Current DEA license and CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to evidence-based pediatric care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and staff
- Passion for serving children and families in a community-focused, public health-oriented environment
