Position SummaryThe Kittery School District seeks a Kitchen Helper to support meal preparation and service at the Community Center during summer. The helper will follow all health and safety guidelines, assist with inventory, set up tables, and help with cleaning duties.
Responsibilities- Assist in preparing and serving meals from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday‑Friday.
- Follow food safety procedures and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management.
- Help set up dining areas and clean after service.
- Prior experience in school nutrition or kitchen operations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 lb.
- Must pass a Criminal History Check through the Maine Department of Education.
