This is a full-time, on-site role for a Blaster/Coater located in Kitimat, BC. The Blaster/Coater will be responsible for surface preparation through sandblasting, applying industrial coatings, and ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. This role involves operating equipment safely, conducting routine maintenance, and collaborating with a team to meet project deadlines. A commitment to safety and precision is essential for success in this position.

• Experience with sandblasting, industrial coating application, and surface preparation
• Knowledge of epoxy coatings, metalizing processes, and working with materials like aluminum and zinc
• Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain sandblasting and coating equipment
  
  Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in industrial environments
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team
• Adaptability for varying work environments, including mobile service locations
• Formal training or certification in industrial coatings or related fields is a plus
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is an asset
