Truck Technician (310T certified or Red Seal)

Trans‑Frt McNamara is looking for licensed technicians who are motivated and determined to make an impact in the transportation industry. As a growing fleet we are looking for multiple individuals to fill a few positions located in Ayr, Ontario.

• Maintenance and preventative maintenance of company fleet to ensure efficient operation
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery
• Responsible for inspections, diagnosis, and repair on both tractors and trailers
• Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions
• Follow and practice workplace health and safety regulations and ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and environmentally sound facility
• Other related tasks, as assigned

• Valid 310T license or a valid Red Seal
• Proven experience as a mechanic
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and engines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance applications and transportation industry rules and regulations
• Have their own set of tools
• Creative and efficient problem‑solving skills with the ability to adapt to varying situations
• Be self‑motivated and proactive in taking on any task that may arise
