Salary Range: $29.09 per hour|
Vacancy Type: Existing Position
Schedule: Full‑time; shifts may include days, afternoons, nights, or continental; overtime as required
As our next Quality Assurance Inspector
, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring high‑quality parts reach our customers by performing inspections, completing documentation, supporting operators, and enforcing quality standards across production. Your expertise in measurement, inspection methods, documentation accuracy, and effective communication will be essential in driving our success and maintaining customer confidence.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Inspect finished products using Final Audit Sheets and document results accurately.
• Perform in‑process inspections using First‑Off Sheets and Operator Inspection Sheets.
• Conduct measurement studies supporting Engineering, QA Engineering, and Production.
• Communicate out‑of‑spec conditions to Operators, Supervisors, QA Engineering, and QA Manager.
• Instruct Operators to stop production when nonconforming conditions are detected.
• Support proper gauge use and perform gauge repairs when capable.
• Complete, maintain, and file all QA documentation.
• Perform Layered Process Audits (LPA) on the production floor.
• Support any production area as required and assist QA team members as needed.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and Environmental Health & Safety requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College diploma in a related field or equivalent training in CMM operations.
• Experience in manufacturing; automotive experience an asset.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills; excellent verbal/written communication.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
Bonus Points If You Have:
• Hands‑on experience with gauges or measuring instruments.
• Background in quality inspection, auditing, or defect containment.
• Familiarity with SPS, 5S, and CI methodologies.
