Journeyperson InsulatorRole focuses on applying, removing, and repairing thermal and acoustical insulation on industrial equipment such as duct piping, heat exchangers, tanks, and vessels.

- Apply, remove, and repair thermal and acoustical insulation (e.g., calcium silicate, glass foam, mineral wool, Styrofoam, fiberglass, armflex) on all types of industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements.
- Select the amount and type of insulation and the method of securing it (e.g., pin welding, wiring, banding, taping) based on surface type, temperature, location, and intended use.
- Measure and cut insulating material and coverings to required shape and dimension, fitting around obstructions or irregular shapes.
- Participate in toolbox talks and field‑level hazard assessments (FLHAs).
- CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and First Aid certifications required.
- Asbestos experience or certification is considered an asset.

Presentation, encouraging subordinates to do the same. - IRATA Rope Access Level 1, 2, 3 an asset.

46.50/hour + vacation pay
